"unvermittelt" (Ger., sudden, abrupt) was the theme of the Musikfestival Bern 2022: old and new, improvised, electronic and experimental music was heard in unexpected places, in unusual lineups, surprising programs and overwhelming density. More than 40 events throughout the city invited visitors to experience music directly from 7th to 11th September.
